Stage set for 38th Wilson Olivera nite at Kundapur

Kundapur, Jan 31: Wilson Olivera, who charmed Konkani music fans recently at Jeppu, Mangalore, is ready to deliver another musical fiesta, this time at his hometown Kundapur.

The musical magic of Sangeeth Sardar is all set to unfurl on February 2, 5.30 pm onwards at Junior College Grounds, Kundapur. The 38th Wilson Olivera nite has been organized by Catholic Sabha, Kundapur deanery.

Sangeeth Sardar, as he is popularly known, always thrived in the Konkani hearts due to his ardent passion and love for music, which is simply why it came quite naturally to the maestro to pen down beautiful compositions and bring out melodious music that flows all the way straight from the bottom of his heart. It’s a striking feature that lays evidence to all his musical shows to be a raging success among the Konkani audience.

Ronald Olivera, the younger brother of Wilson Olivera, who has contributed exceptionally to the success of the shows so far, returns as the master of ceremony. Ronald Olivera has been credited with the title of consecutive 4-time winner of International Toastmaster due to his entertaining skills. An undoubtedly talented young blood, Ronald Olivera is bound to make the perfect host for the evening.

The orchestra for the upcoming show has been organized by the team of Sachin Sequeira, and talented singers such as Prashanth Pinto, Rony Crasta, Zeena Pereira, Joseph Mathias, Stuart Olivera, Robin and Carol Sequeira, will also add charm to the show by lending their voices to the beautiful renditions of Olivera.

‘Me-Mo-Ri’, a highly popular comedy group in Konkani will take centre stage during the course of the show to entertain the audience with their delightful humour and create an altogether enjoyable ambience for the entire crowd. Dance troupe ‘Nach Sobhann’ will keep the audience spellbound with their creative and magical dancing skills.
