If in case a new airport comes uo in Kasargod, Mlore airport will go for a toss, no business... will be a total loss.

All flights will be flying with 30 passengers...and those direct flights from GCC countries will start flight via Kasargod and then next stop Mlore.

Better to pay customs than to fall prey to them. They sign x mark on all boxes or bags after screening at airport. When I bought bangles in pants pocket, an custom officer in Mumbai, tapped my pockets and said, you have bought ladies gold. So gave him something cash. Next time when I was coming out of Mangalore airport, a lady said there is a bangle in your hand bag, I showed the plastic bangles. So Mangalore customs are very clever, be careful.

They really help to keep the gold price in India checked.
Few gold bars out of this already went into the official pocket while searching. Hence the part of it is officially announced will be govt. property. Then you know...

Imagine till now - this kind of smuggling was rampant- All customs officers with revenue intelligence were having a feast.
Thanks to AAP for bringing in LOKYUKTHA,
By the way where is all this collected money going to?
    Is it to the exchequer?
or again back to the nethas?
Collect all this wealth and India can come out of its debts on the spot.
Control inflation and our growth will rise to 8%
    easy money..

These people are not fools as we think. In spite of daily catches, why they are doing again and again. The real fact is,to allow the bigger consignment,it is hard and fast to catch a smaller one. It's part of the setting.

In the future days to come ,mentioning the culprit's name and native, might account for categorical discrimination and embarrassment to the people of particular native.

In gulf countries they just mention the offender's name as ‘Asian’ to avoid embarrassment to our neighboring countries expats as most of the offenses are committed by their nationals .
