Kasargod, Jan 30: Kasargod police on Thursday January 30 arrested the kingpin behind the supply of a large amount of ganja to various states and districts including Kasargod.

The arrested person is identified as Idukki resident Shaji Mon alias P Suresh (42). He was arrested by a special police squad in Idukki.

More than fifteen cases of ganja supply are registered against him, say the police.

Police also said that he has supplied four quintals of ganja in Kasargod alone during the last one year.

He is said to be supplying ganja from Andhra Pradesh to various places and is said to be the kingpin of ganja trade in the district.

Shaji’s accomplice was earlier arrested with 110 kg of ganja at Bevinje.

Police said that Shaji used to transport ganja in stolen vehicles to various places including Kasargod. He knows Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil and is known by different names in different places.

WE HAVE NO PROVISION IN LAW TO MAKE IT NON BAILABLE WARRANT EVEN IF IT IS SIXTEENTH CASE BECAUSE OUR LAW MAKERS HAVE NO TIME TO REVIEW SUCH IMPORTANT MATTERS AND THEY ARE BUSY WITH THEIR OWN AGENDA.

I think most people don't have any work and use to comment on every article of media. It is wonder that how these people are getting time to comment. For reply of articles few are appreciating police and even salute, why this simply they are doing their duties. & even if police caught red handed in illegal activities then also so many comments criticizing, so these people main work to comment. My concern is no meaning for comment in practical, only to concern authorities implement proper action.

What a pity, here it says more than 15 cases was registered against him so this is the 16 the time. He will get bail one more time and do his business again because of these guys our teenagers get spoiled. Govt. should introduce non-bailable warrant to these Ganja suppliers. This is not a small crime.

Really a Great Job by Police team.
    BIG SALUTE.
These are REAL enemies of humanity.
Parents, siblings, relatives, friends, Schools, Colleges and religious sacrifice a lot and work so hard to MAKE a person.
Whereas THESE PEOPLE tempt them, addict them, squeeze them, and finally make them isolated and ruin their life completely.

They are BIGGEST ENEMIES OF HUMANITY.

He looks under the influence of Ganja while taking his photo.
When he will be granted bail?
Now there will be competition between the lawyers to become his advocate.
