Mumbai, Jan 29: “It is necessary to clear complications in the society. We should take advantage of the society and make it progress towards development. Everybody in the society should respond to it. We cannot clap with one hand. We can hear the sound of the clap only if we use both the hands for clapping. The sub committees should work with the main committee for the development”, said Chandrashekar R Belchada, president of Thiya Samaja in Mumbai.
He was speaking at an annual programme held by Thiya Samaj at Sri Jagadamba Kalabhairava Mandira hall at Jogeshwari east. The religious programme was led by P C Jayaprakash, priest.
K P Aravinda, Rohidas Bangera, Vishwanath U K, Narayana Salian, Appunji Bangera, Sridhara S Suvarna, Madhava Bangera, Divya R Kotian and Padmini Kotekar were present. Sudhakar Uchil and Sujatha Uchil couple felicitated new couple of the year with flowers and fruits.
Chandrashekar Salian, treasurer of the committee welcomed. Assistant secretary Gangadhar Kalladi compered the programme and proposed vote of thanks.
