Anuradha Ramam gives stylish twist to long skirts

New Delhi, Jan 25 (IANS): Mini and short skirts have always caught the eye of partygoers, but now with the Bohemian vibe invading the fashion scene, one of the must-haves for women this season is a long skirt with a lot of flairs. Designer Anuradha Ramam has given the garment her own twist.

Ramam has come up with her latest collection of Malda silk skirts that are not only comfortable and convenient to wear, but are also very modern and flattering.

The long skirts, available in bright prints and solid colours, have a lot of flairs. The printed and colourful silk skirts, which are bordered and embroidered with Kutch work, give it a different look.

"One can wear them with plain t-shirts or pop-coloured ganjis for a casual outing with friends or with a basic cut-sleeved tops with details like glitter or beads for a more quirky dressing," Ramam said in a statement.

For a party look, she said, women can team the Malda skirt with detailed and stylish embroidered blouses or tops and add some exciting accessories like chunk or tribal to be a complete head-turner.

"In case you want to go with the Indian chic look, wear it with a duppatta, bindi and a pair of jhumkas," she added.

The price range of the collection starts from Rs.4,000.
