SRK turns guru for Mohit Raina

Mumbai, Jan 23 (IANS): Bollywood's 'King of Romance' Shah Rukh Khan recently shared some tips with small screen actor Mohit Raina who is seen in a serious role in the TV show "Devon Ke Dev Mahadev".

Shah Rukh was hosting the 20th Annual Life OK Screen Awards when he called Mohit on stage and the latter asked him to teach him a few nuances of attracting a variety of roles.

That's when SRK made him learn how to spread out his arms for a lady and how to dance a bit. But all in vain!

A source says that the superstar also took some time out during the event's rehearsals to guide Mohit who has won praise galore for his act as Mahadev.

"Shah Rukh was extremely helpful and co-operative and was lending a helping hand to Mohit during rehearsals. He got down to the minutest details like the stance on stage, dialogue delivery and patiently helped out Mohit.

"Mohit, who is a huge SRK fan, was more than happy to get some tips from his favourite actor," said the source.

The awards show will be aired on Life OK Saturday.

Unique plot attracted Nazim to 'Plot No 666'

TV actor Mohammad Nazim, who plays Ahem in the show "Saath Nibhana Saathiya", will make his Bollywood debut with horror film "Plot No 666". It was the "unique concept" of the film that attracted him to the project.

"The people I'm working with are my close friends and they felt that I fit into the role well. The concept was unique and I enjoy a good concept," Nazim said in a statement.

Talking about the role, he said: "My character can foresee what is happening in the future. He realises what will happen in advance and then the drama unfolds."

The actor believes that a good horror film must have a strong "thriller element" as well as a gripping story.

"'The Conjuring', 'Raaz', '1920' - these movies had a thriller element and perfect fiction to make the movie scary enough to make you feel scared," he said.

The film, directed by Aziz Zee, has been shot in Mumbai and the actor is currently busy dubbing for it.
