Gadchiroli, May 16 (Tuesday, 6-300 pm): At least 12 members of a wedding party were killed in a Naxal attack in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district bordering Madhya Pradesh.
The incident took place at around 4.30 am (IST) on Tuesday when a van full of people returning from a wedding hit a landmine.
All 12 occupants of the van were killed.
It is the second such incident within a month. On April 19, a police van was blown up in a landmine blast in the Phulbondi forest area in Gadchiroli that killed one and injured 17.
