Los Angeles, Jan 21 (IANS): Actor-filmmaker Lee Daniels says he doesn't care about the awards.
The 54-year-old's latest directorial venture "The Butler" failed to get any Oscar nomination.
"We don't do it for the awards, we do it for the art," tmz.com quoted Daniels as saying.
The movie is about a White House butler who served eight US presidents over the three decades and it features Oprah Winfrey and Forest Whitaker.
