Navi Mumbai, Jan 20: Navi Mumbai recently witnessed a unique event, in the form of a human chain between Sunil Gawaskar Ground,CBD & the CIDCO Ground, Near Central Park, Kharghar, winding through the residential colonies of Belapur and Khargar , to profess, propagate and spread of human values.

About 20,000 Nirankari devotees from Navi Mumbai, and neighbouring Mumbai region arrived and assembled en-route the entire stretch joining hands giving call of solidarity for the need for valuing human values and invited the public in the nearby localities to come and witness it in practice at the 47th Nirankari sant Samagam Starts on the 24,Jan.14 at the CIDCO grounds, near Central Park.Sector 29, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.

The Human Chain, at 8.15 a.m. was flagged off at Sunil Gawaskar Maidan, CBD-Belapur by releasing the air balloons hoisting a four sided placard mentioning the goals for which the Mission stands and works for.

Inauguration was done by Shambhunath Tiwari, coordinator of the Samagam.  Local MLA Prashant Thakur visited the Human Chain at the Samagam Ground end and was in total appreciation of the Mission’s effort of human unification.

All along the route they held up placards, banners with slogans reflecting the message of human values as well as  social, civic commitments of the Mission and sang devotional, inspiring songs to kindle the light of Humanity for the passers-by.

This formation, here, depicts that to celebrate humanity, it is essential  that the spirit of unification stems from within, changes  the  thought  process to wean away from self-centered, divisive  motives and direct  them towards universal well being .

Sant Nirankari Mission believes, as stated in the holy scriptures that human embodiment is precious and is blessed with the intellect  to realize its true reason for existence and, talent, to make this beautiful earth a heavenly abode to live in adorned with jewels of love, peace & harmony .It appeals to this intellect to work for establishment of true human unification.
