Mumbai, Jan 16 (IANS): Vinod and Raksha Thakur, currently seen as participants in Nach Baliye 6”, had earlier eloped and got married. Now they have tied the knot on the dance reality show and are happy about it.

This time it was more special as the duo even received the blessings of their parents.

"Actually this is really the first time we got married. The wedding that happened earlier was not exactly a marriage, it was just something that made sure we were together. We have had the biggest wedding on the stage of a reality show like 'Nach Baliye'," Vinod said here in an interview.

"I could have never thought that we would get such a big gift. We will always remember this moment and people will also remember that a wedding happened on the stage of 'Nach Baliye'," he added.

Vinod, who is physically disabled, had earlier participated in the reality show "India's Got Talent".

Raksha and Vinod met at Vinod's dance school and they fell in love with each other. However, Raksha's parents were against the match because of Vinod's disability.

On“"Nach Baliye”, the couple has been praised for their talent and courage to compete alongside established names from the TV industry.

The show airs on Star Plus and is judged by Shilpa Shetty, Terrence Lewis and Sajid Khan.
