Kuwait: Belman Welfare Association to celebrate decennial on Feb 28

Kuwait, Jan 12: Belman Welfare Association Kuwait (Belwak) will be completing ten successful years of its formation in Kuwait and to commemorate this occasion the association will hold grand decennial celebrations in Kuwait on February 28 (Friday) at the Kuwait Medical Association auditorium, Jabriya from 4 pm.
Belwak is a purely non-profitable and charitable organization dedicated towards the upbringing of the poor children in the field of education and a ray of hope to the aged and needy back home in Belman. Since its inception in February 2004 Belwak has contributed towards many causes and needs of its parishioners.
The highlight of the programme will be a Konkani comedy play 'Chintilya Borim Zaaynaa' enacted by the talented artistes of United Mangaloreans of Kuwait (UMK). United Mangaloreans Kuwait are well-known for their charity and selfless support towards the needy and the bundle of talents they possess. The rib-tickling comedy play guarantees to send the audience on a laughter ride.
Another attraction at this celebration will be a performance by singer-composer Roshan D’Souza (popularly known as Rosh Belman) accompanied by singer wife Heral Pinto, who will be specially flown in from Belman. Roshan and Heral along with the local singing talents will entertain the crowd with their melodious voices. Foot-tapping dances will be performed by local talents adding more charm to the occasion.
The organizers have requested people to be present in large numbers and be part of an entertaining evening.
