Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 10 (IANS): The craze over Malayalam superstar Mohanlal starrer Tamil action drama "Jilla" was such that the fans queued outside the cinema halls in the night to see the film, which opened Friday with the first show at 5 a.m.
"It's a great film and I am delighted that I was able to see the first show at 5 a.m. We have been waiting since last evening in front of the theatre here," said a group of Mohanlal's fans.
"Jilla" also stars Tamil icon Vijay and it said to be the first film that has been released in 207 theatres in the state.
Interestingly, Mohanlal's distribution company has got the distribution rights for the film in the state.
In the state capital itself, six theatres are running "Jilla".
