Mumbai: Goregoan Karnataka Sangha to host Kanakadasa seminar on Jan 12

Mumbai, Jan 10: At the joint auspices of Goregaon Karnataka Sangh ® Rangastala Grantayana division, Kanakadasa Research Centre of Mangalore University, ‘Kula Kulavendu Hodedadadiri,’ programme, a series of visionary Kanakadasa preaching will be held at Goregaon Karnataka Sangh office, 5 – 6, Premabindu, M G Road, Besides S V Road,Boregaon (West) here on Sunday January 12 at 4.30pm.
 
 The renowned social activist, medical practitioner and progressive poet Dr H S Anupama will inaugurate the programme.



 
Mangalore University Kanaka Peeta correspondent and senior scholar Dr Shivaram Shetty will deliver keynote address.
 
Goregaon Karnataka Sangh ® president Payyaru Ramesh Shetty will preside the programme.

Vidhya Deshpande, Nikhit Amin, Seema Kulkarni, Vasudha Nayak, Usha Shetty, Rakshita Nayak will lead the recitation of Kanakadasa’s poetry.

They will be assisted in 6 groups by Vasanti Kotekar, Veda Suvarna, Neeta Shetty, Pooja Poojary, Mohini Poojary, Susheela Nayak, Rama Nayak, Nagaratna Nayak, Sumitra Kundar, Sumitra Gujaran, Akshari Anchan and Pratiksha Nayak.

The literary enthusiasts are welcomed, informed Rangastala – Grantayana directors Petri Vishwanat Shetty and Shakuntala Prabhu.
