Kundapur, Jan 10: The menace of street dogs has become acute these days.  The situation is such that school children, people and animals are unable to walk around Doddihitlu area.

It is feared that a cow in Doddihitlu is suffering from rabies from Thursday, January 10, after a dog bite a few days ago.  The cow has started wading everyone that it came across and some of them are injured. The local people, who suspected that it is ill, tied it and called a veterinary doctor.

The doctor who arrived has said that the cow might have rabies and it is too late to cure it.

A street dog had bit a child a week ago in Gangoli and the people are worried due to the rabies caused to the cow.  The people have expressed anguish that the government has done nothing in this regard.
