Muscat, Jan 8: Encouraged by the resounding success achieved in last year’s blood donation drive wherein more than 150 enthusiastic donors partook in the session, Spandana team is geared up to organize its second blood donation camp this month.

As a New Year gift to humanity, Spandana’s next blood donation camp will be organized under the auspices of Central Blood Bank, Ministry of Health, Sultanate of Oman.

The blood donation camp will be held on January 18 from 9 am to 4 pm at Building no 79, way no 2116, Al Muzama Street, opposite  Al Falaj Hotel tennis court, Ruwi.

Donation of blood can be termed a heroic deed as it would serve the purpose of saving the life of an ailing person, a fellow human being. 

As part of its service towards the society and with a concern for saving lives, Spandana  Group, Muscat has taken up a worthwhile initiative to donate blood and help save the lives of others.

Apart from blood donation, Spandana team in the past 2-3 years has been organizing free/open-to-all quality musical shows / entertainment programs, thereby giving an opportunity and international exposure to upcoming artists especially from coastal Karnataka region.  In addition, Spandana team has been trying its bit in honing the talents of artistically inclined children, and also has been involving in several charity activities back home as a social responsibility.
