'Attarintiki ..' makers dedicate success to audience

Chennai, Jan 4 (IANS): The makers of Pawan Kalyan-starrer Telugu romantic-drama "Attarintiki Daaredhi", which celebrates 100 days in cinemas Saturday, have dedicated the film's success to its fans who stood by the film despite it being leaked online before its official release.

The film, which released Sep 27, is celebrating its 100th day in 31 theatres across Andhra Pradesh.

"I think it's not the victory of our film. It's the victory of our industry against piracy. All fans who stood by our film, displayed their unity deserve to be credited for the success. I wish we take such a strong stance against piracy with respect to all our films," producer B.V.S.N Prasad told IANS.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film has minted over Rs.100 crore at the box office and is still raking in the moolah.

"The success of our film made us not lose faith in hard work and dedication. I was worried when the film leaked online but Pawan sir asked me to believe in the audience. I'm glad that they didn't let us down," he added.

The film also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Pranitha Subhash, Nadhiya, Rao Ramesh, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Ali among many more.
