New Delhi, Jan 3 (IANS): Television actor Amit Behl, who has recently entered "Kehta Hai Dil...Jee Le Zara", says that he is thoroughly enjoying playing his character on the TV show. The actor said that he has got "unprecedented" response for his role.
He is seen as the father of Dhruv, a character essayed by Ruslaan Mumtaz.
"People saw me for the first time (in the show) yesterday (Thursday). I have got an unprecedented response. I am loving every moment of the show. It is slightly different from all that I have done before," Amit told IANS over the phone from Mumbai.
He believes his character is special.
"For him, except for his son, no one else matters. He puts money before the heart," said Amit, who has earlier been a part of shows like "Savitri" and "Buddha".
For the actor, a role must attract him in the first few minutes of the narration itself.
"The writer generally narrates the script and you get attracted in the first line itself. When I read this script for this show, I felt 'I have to do this'," he said.
"Kehta hai Dil...Jee Le Zara", which also features Sangeeta Ghosh, airs on Sony Entertainment Television.
