Mumbai, Dec 26: Christmas eve was celebrated with much devotion and vigor at St. Joseph Church on Tuesday, December 24 here. Entire atmosphere was adorned with sparkling lights and twinkling stars in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ the Savior.

The Solemn Eucharistic celebration began at 10.30 pm. Parish Priest Fr. Dominic Vas offered the Mass along with Fr Ivan, Fr Michael, Fr Roshan, Fr Agnelo, Fr Ivo, Fr Walter and Deacon John.  Fr Dominic and Fr Michael preached a vibrant dialogue sermon on the theme ‘Joy in the Family-Joy to the World’.

A large number of devotees attended the solemn mass. Carol singing, colorful crib and vibrant Christmas tree added color to the festivity.

Fr. Dominic thanked everyone and wished a very happy Christmas.
