Chennai, Dec 17 (IANS): Actress Advaitha, who made her Tamil cinematic debut with "Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai", was born as Krithi Shetty, but she changed her name for her foray into filmdom. Now she has decided to revert to her original name for upcoming Tamil drama "Snehavin Kadhalargal".
"I chose Advaitha for numerological reasons and it was also lucky, but I didn't quite like the way people pronounced my name. Many couldn't pronounce my name properly, and therefore, I have decided to revert to Krithi Shetty," Advaitha told IANS.
"It was a personal decision to go back to my original name. I hope it will also prove lucky for me," she added.
Currently awaiting the release of "Snehavin Kadhalargal", Advaitha is also working on two other Tamil projects "Sevili" and "Maanga".
"I'm looking forward to the release of 'Snehavin Kadhalargal', which is the story of a heroine and the four men in her life. It's an emotional journey of a character I essay in the film," she said.
