Mumbai, Dec 14: Actor Hrithik Roshan posted on his Facebook page this morning that his wife Sussanne would always be the love of his life, even though she has decided to end their 13 year marriage and go separate ways. He further added that if being away from him would make her smile brighter, it was a price he was willing to pay. He said his unconditional love would not allow him to stop her if she wanted to find happiness away from him. The couple that broke many hearts way back in 2000 when they got married, seem to have managed the feat yet again with their separation

It had been speculated for a while that the marriage was in troubled waters and it was only on Friday morning that Hrithik Roshan confirmed the news by stating that his wife wished to be separated from him. He had also requested for privacy as he and his family came to terms with the end of this relationship. Sussanne an interior designer and daughter of veteran actor Sanjay Khan and Zareen Khan moved into her parents house in Juhu two months ago fuelling the swirling rumours of a divorce being underway for her husband and herself. Sussanne spoke out on her decision saying that Hrithik and she had a lot of respect and cared for each other but going separate ways was their mutual decision based on individual choices. She also added that no matter what tranpired between the two of them, they would continue to make sure that their two sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan would always be their priority and their primary responsibility would be to protect and take care of them.

Having dated for four years, the childhood sweethearts had tied the knot in December 2000 and soon gone on to become one of the most loved and glamorous couples of Bollywood.

Sussanne too requested for privacy at a time that is undoubtedly difficult for her and her family. She also thanked everyone who extended their warmth and concern for both Hrithik and herself along with their respective families.
