Los Angeles, Dec 13 (IANS): Singer Beyoncé Knowles unveiled her new album "Beyoncé" on iTunes Friday.
Her fifth album, under Columbia records, a division of Sony Music, consists of 14 songs and 17 videos. The tracks feature music artists like Drake and Frank Ocean along with music producer-rapper-husband Jay Z and their daughter, Blue Ivy.
“I wanted people to hear the songs with the story that’s in my head, the vision in my brains is what I wanted people to experience for the first time,” the 32-year-old said in a statement.
“Now people only listen to a few seconds of a song, they don’t really invest in the whole album. It’s all about the single, the hype! There is so much that happens between the music, the artists and the fans. I didn’t want anybody to give the message that my record is coming out I just want this to come out when its ready and for me to my fans,” she added.
