'Vastha Nee Venuka' to be majorly shot in Europe


Chennai, Dec 11 (IANS): Upcoming Telugu romantic drama "Vastha Nee Venuka" will be shot mostly in various picturesque locations of Europe, said its producer Dasari Kiran Kumar who promises that the film will be a visual treat.

"We will be shooting mostly in Europe and it is not because most Telugu films nowadays are shot abroad. It's because that the story of our film requires to be shot there, so we are heading to several locations there to shoot," Kiran Kumar told IANS.

Eesha of "Anthaku Mundhu Aa Tharavatha" fame has been cast opposite Havish, who plays the male lead in the film.

"We will head to Europe soon along with Eesha and Havish. We are on the lookout for another heroine and we hope to zero in on one soon," he added.

Ramesh Varma will direct the film which goes on the floors Friday.

In the recent past, several Telugu films such as "Baadhshah" and "Dookudu" were shot in foreign locales like Bangkok and Istanbul.
