Udupi: Fire erupts in IDBI Bank

Udupi, Dec 2: The IDBI Bank Udupi branch at Chittaranjan circle here caught fire on Monday December 2.

The cause of the fire is said to be short circuit in the air conditioner.

Though not much damage was reported, there was heavy smoke as there was it was an enclosed area and there was no outlet for the fumes to escape.

Fire brigade rushed to the spot and brought the fire and smoke under control.
