Columbo, April 11: Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa received renowned Indian spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, who was on a four-day visit to Sri Lanka, at his official residence on Sunday.
The President expressed his happiness at the grand welcome that Sri Sri received in war-torn Jaffna, where the latter expressed his readiness to meet LTTE supremo Velupillai Prabhakaran to facilitate the peace process.
The President requested Sri Sri Guruji to visit the country more often to spread peace. Earlier during the day, Norwegian ambassador to Sri Lanka Hans Brakkstar called on Sri Sri and discussed the peace process in Sri Lanka.
