Tehran, Nov 20 (IANS): Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Wednesday that Iran's redlines should be respected during the upcoming nuclear talks in Geneva, IRNA reported.
"We do not interfere in the details of the talks but there are redlines that they are obliged to respect," Khamenei said in his address to a gathering of 50,000 volunteer commanders in the national capital Tehran.
He also insisted on "stabilising Iranians rights including their nuclear rights".
"Sanctions and other similar acts give us a chance to find out the weaknesses and remove them," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Noting that Iranians respect all nations of the world, the Supreme Leader said: "However, we will give a crushing response to those who act against us."
