Modi said it correct. .the real name of M.K.Gandhi is MOHANLAL karamchand Gandhi which is now known as MOHANDAS...you can refer to his class 10th report card where his name is written as MOHANLAL. ..the picture of his mark sheet is available online.

We are a nation that build places of worship in the name of film actors and actresses. Then we are also a country that slipper the same personalities when they falter a little. Basically we are a nation that gets carried away by mere speeches and actions. More so often we get carried away without knowing the actual truth. The congress has its share of idiots just like the BJP. While for congress it is Rahul Gandhi, for the BJP it is Modi. It is disheartening that the present day young generation go over the fence to support someone without actually understanding the facts. While I agree there has been development in Gujarath, we must look into real facts and figures.

People please remember we are talking about an efficient leader to run this country. If Modi is really telling the truth about development then I dont think he will have any shortage of support to make him the PM. But the fact is there are other states which has fared better than Gujarath in development. So why the lies??? I really would appreciate Modi if he came to power with the aid of truth than lies.
While I agree that Vajapayee was the best PM we had, I will not agree that Modi is going to be one too. Sometimes the best of oratory prowess can be nothing but bullshit. It is harder to write a story than read it.

Gandhi was addressed as Mohanlal by many during his time.. "das" and "lal" are interchangeable in Gujarati. Seems media is still stuck with first standard history textbooks is it such a big deal just need to ask Modi is writing an history exam can we ask Rahul, Sonia and MMS history of india....Media and India outside of Gujarat need to understand that in Gujarati DAS in just a suffix to a name and not a part of name as is the case in many other languages. As compared to Sonia Gandhi's pathetic Hindi spoken with Foreign accent even today, Modi's speeches are very good in Chaste Hindi.

Even Sonia cannot properly pronounce her own husband's Surname 'Gandhi ', because she pronounces it as "Gyandi" , that is in the same way British people used to wrongly pronounce the name of Mahatma Gandhiji.
