Tripoli, Nov 18 (IANS): Libyan deputy director of intelligence Mustafa Noah, who was kidnapped Sunday from outside the Tripoli airport, was released Monday, an intelligence source told Xinhua.
Noah, the head of the intelligence agency's espionage unit, was intercepted along with his escort by unidentified abductors while they were getting out of the airport after a trip to Turkey.
He was pulled into the abductors' car while his assistant managed to escape, said Hashim Beshr, the director of the higher security committee at the Tripoli security directorate.
