Kundapur: Blind-folded bike rally for Modi's Bangalore meet flagged off

Kundapur, Nov 16: All eyes were on Shastri circle here on Saturday November 16 as a bike rally heading to Bangalore to participate in BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s public address was flagged off.
Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a public rally in Bangalore on Sunday November 17.
Vilas Nayak, BJP district Yuva Morcha vice-president, set the rally in motion in a unique way by covering his face with a black mask and riding the bike.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that he intends to break his earlier record of riding for 318 hours covering a distance of 318 kilometers.
Former minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, who flagged off the rally by handing over the BJP flag said that the country which leads in scams, needs a new leader. "Even rural people know that BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate is the ideal person to lead the country. The situation is such that Pakistan Prime Minister has decried Indian Prime Minister as an old lady, and it is necessary to have a strategy against it," he said.
Former MLA K Raghupathi Bhat, district president Vikramarjuna Hegde, former president of the municipal council Mohandas Shenoy, field president Rajesh Kaveri, former president B Kishore Kumar etc were present. Nearly 150 bikes participated in the rally.
