Mangalore: Police arrest gangster, seize weapons, foil murder plot

Mangalore, Nov 13: A youth, said to be a member of underworld don Vicky Shetty's gang, was arrested on Tuesday November 12. The police have also seized 4 lethal weapons and chili powder from him.

The arrested has been identified as Shiva (26), a resident of Jeppinamogeru.

Police sources said that he was an associate of rowdy sheeter Sharan, a resident of Akashbhavan.

He was arrested by the police when he was driving past Jeppinamogeru NH 66. They found lethal weapons upon inspecting the car.

On interrogation, he revealed that he and his associates had planned to murder a person.

City crime branch inspector Valentine D’Souza, PSI Shyam Sundar and other officials were part of the investigation.

    It is really feared to see where Mangalore is leading to. The more People get educated it is so more criminality is increasing. Murder, drugs, and more rapes ,theft.Brutalitaet. People have no Feeling to each other. Now only Gold Money and high tech materials and for it ready to kill your own brother or mother. God save us from These evils.

    First thing police must trace out the workshop from where he prepares these items. Together him, the police must take them to the street with only a half trouser. The entire area must aware of his behavior. I am sure, no one in jeppinamogaru will support or respect him. Aakhir Thel Bechna Padegha woh bhi mushkil se.
    Police Dept should leave him freely. Give some treatment that he should remember life long and a lesson to rest of the rowdy's.

    Lethal weapons : Dangers than AK47.

    Govt. should ban all above weapons, fine 1 million for one piece of above weapon.

    How they will use above weapons against our own brothers.

    If I see cutting chicken the central market, my tears will come down within one second.

    Then how they can use the same weapon against another person.

    I think the police have to investigate very deep - maybe he can give more information.

    May be they used the same weapon for to kill many other people.

    Need a proper investigation without any political or business man intemperance

    Don’t release him otherwise – for money they are ready to kill own parent.

    They can only understand the meaning of money – ( Not family or our country.)
