New Delhi, Nov 6: Rural development minister Jairam Ramesh today stated that while the 2014 elections might prove to be the final run for Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi will be there even next time round and beyond. He further said that Modi was working on the oft used strategy of hype that he felt was the political party's modus operandi.

'Political autocracy, social divisiveness and economic liberalism' - were the pillars of what he termed as Modi-entum. He compared India's current progress to what Germany witnessed in 1932 due to the above mentioned principles followed by Modi.

The Congress party has denied knowledge of Ramesh's statements on the matter. Ramesh went on to compare the BJP to a jackal and the Congress to an elephant, clarifying that the Congress thinks carefully and takes more definitive actions.

The BJP's retaliation came in the form of a statement by spokesman Capt Abhimanyu, who stated that the statement just showed that Rahul Gandhi was taking too long to pick up the ropes and therefore the impatience of his party members was consequently escalating.
