Ajman, Mar 31: A weeklong Sports Festival was held at the Gulf Medical College, Ajman from 25th to 29th March 2006. The festival had participants of more than 16 colleges and universities from all over UAE vying for the trophies. The concluding day results of the various sports festival were announced during the Prize Distribution Ceremony held at GMC Sports Complex on 29th March at 8:00 pm.
The Chief Guest Mr. B. Ahmed Hajee Mohiudeen, Chairman of B. A. Group, India gave away the prizes to various winners along with the Guest of Honor Mr. K. E. Faizal, Managing Director of Emirates Techno Casting, Thumbay Moideen, Founder President of Gulf Medical College, Ajman & Dr. S. Rangaswami, Dean of Gulf Medical College, Ajman.
The results of the sports festival were as follows:

The sports festival is very popular among the students of various colleges and universities and received a very good response. We appreciate the support received from various sponsors like Thumbay Group, Emirates Techno Casting, Dunlop Sports, Sun & Sand Sports, Al Ghurair Printing, ALDO, Imprint Printing Press, SNTTA, Body & Soul Health Club, Blends & Brews Coffee Shoppe etc. Keeping in view the enthusiasm generated among the students during the sports festival, Gulf Medical College plans to extend the duration of the festival to two weeks and include more colleges and universities for participation.
Registration is now open at Gulf Medical College, Ajman for M.B.B.S and B.P.T programs for the batches of 2006-2007.
