New Delhi, Nov 4 (IANS): The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Delhi unit will restart its "Ghar Ghar" door-to-door campaign to share its vision with the people after the selection of candidates.
The campaign was stopped last month during the selection of the party's chief ministerial candidate, a leader said Monday.
The campaign was started by party's president Vijay Goel who visited an apartment complex in Civil Lines area Oct 16. The objective of the campaign is to disseminate the message of the party.
"Now it will be started again after the selection of candidates," a party leader told IANS.
Five members from the party, including the selected candidate, will visit individual house, meet the family members and share the party's vision, said the leader.
Delhi has 70 assembly constituencies for which 1,500 people have applied for BJP tickets. The capital is set to go to polls Dec 4.
Meanwhile, the announcement about the names of candidates is expected in a couple of days as the central election committee is set to meet Nov 5, said sources.
