Pondicherry, Mar 28: Charges were framed against Kanchi Sankaracharya Jayendra Saraswathi, his junior Vijayendra Saraswathi and 22 other accused in the Sankararaman murder case by a court in Pondicherry on Tuesday.
When principal sessions judge M Chinnapandi framed the charges under various sections of the IPC, the seers and the other accused pleaded not guilty.
