Modi rally in Bangalore: 15,000 supporters from Udupi, 10,000 from Puttur

Udupi/Puttur, Oct 31: Thousands of supporters of BJP PM candidate and Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi are gearing up to participate in the upcoming rally at Bangalore to be addressed by their leader.
Narendra Modi will be addressing a rally at Bangalore on November 17 as part of the 2014 election campaign. Nearly 15,000 Modi supporters from Udupi and 10,000 from Puttur are getting ready for the rally.
As a prelude to the rally, programmes are being held to organize the supporters, said Udupi district BJP president Thingale Vikramarjuna Hegde.
Addressing a press meet held at the BJP office n Udupi on Wednesday 29 October, he said there will be an open campaign and door-to-door visits. "Nearly 15,000 BJP party workers will take part in the rally at Bangalore. There is good support from NaMo Brigade and other like-minded organizations," he said.
Area level meets are also in progress, he added.
From Puttur, around 10,000 party workers will take part in the Modi rally, said S Ayyappa, president of BJP, Puttur unit.
Presently, 44 rural-level committees and three urban regional committee are actively engaged in organizing the supporters, he said.
