London, Oct 30 (IANS): A 25-year-old Sri Lankan student, working part-time as a pizza delivery boy in Britain's Sheffield city, was found stabbed in his car on the final day of his job, a leading British daily reported Wednesday.
Thavisha Lakindu Peiris, who was aspiring to become an IT consultant, was found dead Sunday evening in Sheffield's Southey area, the Mirror reported. He was studying IT at Sheffield Hallam University.
Police said Peiris was making his last delivery for Domino's Pizza when he died on his way to an address in Southey Crescent.
The order was due around 10 p.m., but when he did not return his colleagues went looking for him and found him dead in the driver's seat of his car outside the address he was delivering to.
A post-mortem examination showed that he died from stab wounds. An investigation has been launched and a number of people have been questioned by detectives, the daily said.
