Mangalore: Accident on Netravati bridge throws traffic into disarray

Mangalore, Oct 30: An accident between a lorry and a bus on NH 66 at Netravati bridge created a traffic gridlock that last for more than three hours.
The accident took place at around 7 am on Wednesday October 30 due to which the vehicular movement was blocked on both sides of the bridge.
As it was rush hour, students and office-goers were the most affected. Some of the commuters made the situation worse by trying to sneak into whatever space was available.
Later Ullal and Mangalore rural police arrived at the spot and cleared the traffic.
