Mangalore, Oct 30: The MCA and MSc (software technology) students of St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT), St Aloysius College, Mangalore, attended ‘Infotsav-13’ – the national level intercollegiate IT fest, organized by the MCA Association of SJCE, Mysore on October 26, 27.
Students from 16 colleges across the country attended this fest to showcase their talents and skills in various fields of IT. The AIMIT team excelled in almost all of the above mentioned events bagging seven first places and two second places and thus emerged as the overall champions.
The two day fest saw a string of events being conducted onstage as well as offstage. The onstage events included the icebreaker, best manager, paper presentation and rhythm (culturals). The offstage events consisted of crackers (coding), photofunia (image editing), treasure hunt, clickzz (photography), data digger, newshunt and IT quiz.

Pradeep Kumar Naik was declared as one of the finalists for the best manager event and hence got selected for an internship at Talisma Corporation.
AIMIT also bagged the prize for the best icebreaker and an entertaining cultural performance.
