Kasargod, Oct 23: A teacher at Tekkil Paramba school is said to have beaten up and injured a sixth standard student alleging that he had damaged the glass of the car parked in the school premises. The incident occurred on Monday, October 21.
The injured student is identified as Mohammed Shahil (12). He been admitted to E K Nayanar hospital with injuries on the head and back due to beatings by the teacher. The student complained that the teacher banged his head to the wall thrice.
The student claimed that a stone kept on the first floor of the building fell on the car parked below, damaging its rear window glass. The teacher who lost patience banged the student’s head to the wall thrice, besides beating him. The teacher did not stop though other teachers and students tried to intervene, states the complaint.
Mohammed Shahil is the son of Buhari and Fatima couple of Poinachi Cherukkare.
A complaint has been filed against teacher Tamban in the Vidyanagar police station.
