DPS R.K. Puram, Vasundhara post second victories

New Delhi, Oct 22 (IANS): Two Delhi Public School teams from R.K. Puram and Vasundhara scored contrasting victories over St. George's School in Group N and Bharat National Public School in Group L, respectively, taking a step closer to claiming knockout stage berths of the USA Pears Daredevils School Cup T20 Tuesday.

Last year's quarter-finalist, DPS R.K. Puram scored an eight-wicket win with 6.4 overs to spare against St. George's at the Air Force Cricket Ground in Palam, while DPS Vasundhara had to fight hard to beat Bharat National by six wickets with just two deliveries left at the Bharat Nagar ground.

Last year's champion Vidya Jain Public School trounced Bal Bharati Public School Pitampura by eight wickets with 13.2 overs to spare in a Group A match.
