Kanpur, Oct 19 (IANS): BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi Saturday urged the people to oust the Congress for the sake of their children.
"Do you want you children to face the same difficulties that you have faced? Do you want your children to live the same life? Do you want to change you children's future," Modi asked at a rally here.
"If you love your children, pledge that you will destroy those who destroyed you... Don't let them destroy your children," the Gujarat chief minister said, referring to the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) central government.
He slammed the UPA government for being unable to contain price rise.
"Did (Congress president) Sonia (Gandhi) ever say she is upset because the government could not control price rise? Why is this happening? It is because Congress is arrogant and they don't care about the people," he said.
