MP Jayaprakash Hegde clarifies procedure for direct transfer of subsidy on gas

Udupi, Oct 19: Considering that holding of Adhar card was said as compulsory for booking of gas cylinders in the district, K Jayaprakash Hegde, MP has held a meeting with M N Joshi, regional official of Indian Oil Corporation and has obtained the following clarification.

Holders of Adhar card should fill in the prescribed form with their mobile and bank account numbers and submit them to the retail gas agency outlets and the bank’s branch where the account is held.

Those who do not have Adhar cards, should submit a copy of their voter’s id, house tax paid receipt or ration card to the gas agency outlet along with a declaration that they do not have an Adhar card.  They should also provide with their mobile number and address.

The procedure will enable the consumers to get the subsidy on gas cylinders into their bank accounts, says the press release by the MP.

    I had received my gas cylinder for Rs/1050 against my consumer No.602083 on 3/10/2013.But my subsidy is not yet received in my bank account at SBI mAHE BRANCH.Whom shall I approach to know the progress.All the formalities are completed and the Adhar No is linked with the Bank Correctly
