Mumbai, Oct 18: Shamanooru Shivashankarappa, minister of horticulture in Karnataka state government will be releasing a book titled ‘Bhagyavantaru’ based on the life of N P Suvarna and Prabha N Suvarna couple written by Somashekhar in a conference on world Kannada literature and culture conducted by Delhi Karnataka Sangha in New Delhi. The conference will be held under the aegis of Sri Jnana Mandara educational and cultural trust, Bangalore.

Harikrishna Punarooru, former president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat will be the president of the conference that will be held on Sunday, October 20. AICC chief secretary B K Hariprasad and Karnataka state fisheries minister K Abhayachandra Jain are scheduled to arrive at the conference. Dr C Somashekar will preside over the programme and Sri Prabhu Channabasappa Swamy of Belgaum Motagi Math will be present at the venue.

The programme will be led by Venkatachala Hegde, former president of Delhi Karnataka Sangha while the book ‘Bhagyavantaru’ will be released by minister Shamanooru.
