China's FDI rises to 4.88 percent


Beijing, Oct 17 (IANS): China's foreign direct investment (FDI) climbed to 4.88 percent in September, as compared to the same period last year, the ministry of commerce said Thursday.

China drew $8.84 billion through FDI in September 2013, Xinhua cited a ministry spokesperson as saying.

The country drew $88.6 billion in the first nine months this year, which is up by 6.22 percent compared to the same period of 2012.
