Sena workers force Manohar Joshi to leave Dussehra rally

Mumbai, Oct 14 (PTI): Angry Shiv Sena workers on Sunday shouted slogans against senior party leader Manohar Joshi and forced him to leave the venue of Sena's annual Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park here this evening.

Joshi had indirectly criticised party president Uddhav Thackeray's leadership style, by contrasting it with the aggressive style of Bal Thackeray, two days ago.

He later met Uddhav apparently in a damage control bid.

The Sena is holding its first Dussehra rally after Bal Thackeray's death last November.

Joshi arrived on the dais late and faced with hostile slogans from the workers, he chose to leave.

When the reporters caught up with him outside, he denied that cadres opposed his presence, and said he was never angry with the cadres in the past, nor was he now. "No need to pit me against them," he said before hurrying off.

Manohar Joshi wants to retire from poltics...as of his own. From Dadar Constituency..he already lost his glory. It's Bala Saheb who has given Manohar Joshi..important posts from time-to-time. Kohinoor Institute and Kohinoor Mills compound all belongs to Manohar Joshi. It's earlier decided by Shiv-Sena to install statue of Bala Saheb in Kohinoor Mills Compound but Manohar Joshi kept quiet. It's now intention of Joshi to give platform to his son.

MNS supremo along with Manohar Joshi..already succeeded to take over land of lockout Premier Automobiles in Kurla...

Shiv-sena is nothing but parallel Government..to keep things steady in the society..which any existing government won't able to do so..when they are in power. Due to Shiv-sena..D-Gang afraid to do it's activities in full strength..Jai Ho.

If the RSS and the Shiv Sena don't change their outdated communal and racist ideology, like Hitler's Nazi, their self-life is numbered.

Bulsam, correctly predicted. 'Mend or end'. History has not spared any highhanded attitudes. History will repeat itself. It will not, either of the two.
