New Delhi, Oct 9 (IANS): More than 200 French industry and research institutions are likely to participate in the India-France Technology Summit to be held later this month.
Addressing a media conference here French Ambassador Francois Richier said the summit would open up new eco-system for extended collaboration between businesses, academic and research institutions of the two countries.
“It will give a critical push to the French participation in the development of Indian industry and social sectors and will enrich the strategic dialogue between the two countries,” Richier said.
The technology summit will be organised by the French embassy here in collaboration with the department of science and technology and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). It will take place at Lalit Hotel from Oct 23-24.
During the two-day event academicians, researchers and policy makers from India and France are scheduled to discuss on research collaborations in the areas of energy, air transport, information technology and aerospace among others.
Three workshops and 27 roundtables are scheduled to take place during the summit.
