Shimla, Oct 2 (IANS): Fissures appeared in the nine-month-old Congress government in Himachal Pradesh with the resignation of a chief parliamentary secretary Wednesday over the allocation of work to him, party leaders said.
Chief parliamentary secretary Rajesh Dharmani reportedly sent his resignation to Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, a senior Congress leader told IANS.
Dharmani said he submitted his resignation as he was not happy with the allocation of work to him. "He was attached with the forest minister, but there was no allocation of work to him. So, he was upset," he added.
A civil engineer by profession, he is a second-time legislator from Ghumarwin in Bilaspur district.
