New York, Sep 25 (IANS): Setting the stage for bilateral talks with his Indian counterpart, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said here Wednesday that he would be happy to meet Manmohan Singh on Sep 29 and pick up the threads of bilateral dialogue.
"I will be very happy to meet him, and pick up the threads from where we left off," Sharif told reporters at the UN building here.
Nawaz Sharif and Manmohan Singh are expected to have a breakfast meeting on Sep 29 on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting.
Earlier, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh prior to taking off for the US confirmed in a statement that he would be meeting Sharif on the sidelines of the UNGA.
India is expected to raise concern about acts of terrorism by groups operating from Pakistani soil.
