Mumbai: 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' set catches fire

Mumbai, Sep 25 (FP): A fire broke out on the sets of a television show on Wednesday morning. Four fire tenders, four water tankers and an ambulance were rushed to the spot in Goregaon’s FIlm City.

The set was used by the popular television show Comedy Nights With Kapil. There is no report yet of any casualty, but the set suffered extensive damage, said officials in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s disaster control room.

The set was used by the popular television show Comedy Nights With Kapil. Sources also said star singer Sonu Nigam was to make an appearance on the show later today.

    one of the best show as of now,and something definetly fishy,need to go the roots,kapil bhai all the best,husn jab benakaab hota hai to saikdo ka hisaab hota hai,jiski niyat kharaab hoti hai uska khana bhi kharab hota hai.u r the best no doubt aap chhaaa gaye hai.

    Best comedy show of television ever, i never changed the channel even in repeat telecasts of this show, his sense of humor is superb. nothing will happen he'll continue the show in other better sets.

    Best comedy show, i watch it and also record the same.
    There is something fishy of this incident, act of jealusy cant be ruled out,Truth will come out soon.
    My best wishes are always with KAPIL SHARMA. I am worried if teh show discontinues.

    One of the most popular TV live show and admired by many. The show must go on in another location/set. I doubt jealousy people might behind this fire?
