New Delhi, Feb 25: In a fit of rage capping a verbal duel, an jawan of the Provincial Armed Constabulary on Friday night shot dead his colleague before turning the gun on himself inside the Iraqi embassy in posh Vasant Vihar locality of south-west Delhi.
Bal Kishan first fired on his colleague Sat Pal of 24th Battalion of the PAC when they were in a quarter inside the embassy and then shot himself at around 9:00 p.m., additional deputy commissioner of police Shalini Singh said.
Both were rushed to Safdarjung Hospital where they were declared brought dead.
It could not be immediately ascertained what triggered the altercation between the two jawans.
