Hyderabad, Feb 17: The Andhra Pradesh Assembly was adjourned during the debate on the motion of thanks to the Governor's address following bomb scare in Hyderabad on Friday.
Even as Congress legislator G Chinna Reddy was speaking on the motion, the senior police officer informed the Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy about the anonymous phone call that bomb had been planted in the assembly premises.
Police then informed the panel speaker Purushotham Reddy, who adjourned the house immediately as large posse of police personnel descended on the assembly premises with the sniffer dogs and started conducting a thorough search.
Police also pressed into service Jammers to avoid any untoward incident. State Home Minister K Jana Reddy was seen supervising the search.
